Managed IT & Infrastructure
Clear ownership of the systems your people work in every day — servers, networks, endpoints and Microsoft 365, kept current, monitored and written down.
What this covers
We take responsibility for the operational layer of your environment and for the day-to-day support that keeps it usable.
- Servers & endpointsBuilds, configuration, patching and lifecycle planning for the machines your business runs on
- NetworksSwitching, routing, wireless and remote access, configured and documented rather than improvised
- Microsoft 365Tenant configuration, licensing, mailboxes and shared data administered as one environment
- Monitoring & supportA defined path for problems, with senior engineering accountable for the environment they happen in
- DocumentationInventory, configuration and dependencies recorded and kept current
Security that is baseline, not extra
Secure configuration, patching and access control apply to every system we manage. They are part of running an environment properly, not a separate product.
What is not included at this level: continuous threat monitoring, incident response, and compliance evidence work. Those belong to Cybersecurity & Recovery and are scoped separately.
How it is delivered
This work is delivered as Managed IT Essentials: an agreed scope that states which systems we own, which stay with you, and how changes are handled.
We agree what is in scope before work begins rather than implying every capability applies everywhere.
How this connects to the rest of the environment
Managed IT is the layer the other two build on. Protective controls are applied to the systems under management, and the documentation produced here is what a restore is planned and tested against.
- Cybersecurity & Recovery — assessment, monitoring, incident preparation and tested restores on top of the managed environment
- Architecture & Technical Leadership — the decisions about what this environment should become next
How an engagement starts
Every engagement starts with a conversation about your environment. If there is a fit, we agree the scope and the fee for an assessment before any work begins.
The assessment establishes what exists today, what is exposed, and what needs correcting first. You receive an overview of the environment, a prioritized list of risks and gaps, and a practical remediation roadmap.
